About

Khandaani is an independent, founder-led Indian design house, founded in 2025. We exist because there's remarkably little clothing that takes India's architecture, textiles, craftsmanship, and everyday culture seriously enough to reinterpret — most of what's out there either copies tradition outright or borrows its motifs for a passing trend. We do neither.

Every collection at Khandaani begins with a research question, not a trend report. We look at what Indian architecture solved for centuries ago, how a specific textile technique came to exist, what a region's climate demands of the fabric worn in it — and let those answers, not a moodboard, shape the work.

Everything is made in India, using carefully selected natural materials and construction built to outlast a season. We're a premium contemporary label by choice: fewer, better things, made to be worn for years.
